In the spirit of growth of local football,, Hull City coaches arrived in the country at the close of 2016 to scout for the best talent that will face the Hull City team in the first quarter of 2017.
In the aftermath of the successful outing against English Premier League side Hull City on Monday 27th February, the SportPesa AllStars team was on Monday 27th March awarded with a Kshs 1.15 million cheque for the exploits in the game.

The SportPesa All-Star team that will to take on English Premier League side Hull City in a friendly match on February 27 was unveiled on Saturday afternoon at the Moi International Sports Complex.
The 18-member team will be the first Kenyan football team ever to play an English Premier League club.
